Maxed Squirt, Sound and Toonup are already 95% accurate against anything which makes Toons Hit useless on them. With them no longer guaranteeing hits and their 95% accuracy cap, these are really only useful with Drop. Guffaw came in clutch in a 3 star with 2 Toonupless toons but I am still skeptical. The rest of the restocks are relegated to gag training. Sofie Squirt is outclassed by Baker, but if you roll Squirt without Throw in a FO, she comes in handy. She's also useful in Tier 3-5 CEOs.īaker Bridget is the 3rd best restock even better against Boiler when used during Defense phase. Melody isn't good in solos or against Boiler, but saves many rewards if you roll Sound in the first FO battle. Using him in a Field Office not only saves many rewards but also allows you to go ham on Cakes against the Boiler. Professor Pete is arguably the best SOS card in the game. This is highly useful in Field Offices if you roll Drop on the first or second battle.
Not only do they pair well with Sound (Ned substitutes for Foghorn), they guarantee normal Drops to hit that turn. I feel like Barbara got the short end of the stick from v3.0.0 and should be reverted back to 40 damage so she at least substitutes for Fog against 11s and 13s. As for damaging the Boiler, she is outclassed by Cream Pie even factoring in combo damage. She does a measly 35 damage, which is too little to substitute for Fog except in niche combos. Boiler fight) and they guarantee normal sound to hit that turn.īarbara Seville on the other hand is a let down. They are useful on Soundless toons when you need to supply extra AOE damage (i.e. Moe Zart and Sid Sonata are always worth staying for. Ned's 3 rounds is problematic if your team is lacking firepower, but guaranteed lure always puts in work. SOS Lure is amazing because it never misses and prevents cog damage. I rarely find use in the extra round Lil Oldman bestows compared to Nancy Gas. Will on the other hand is useless, you are better off passing than calling him. Penny got the biggest buff from v3.0.0 battle rework. Madam Chuckle is close to old Daffy Don and is great in solos. Daffy Don is nearly as good as old Flippy, and is basically equal to Flippy in solos. These were fortunately improved by v3.0.0. I'll also explain my ranking by category. Soloing in general is next, and CEO is a distant third. Hence, Field Offices are weighed the most heavily. Of course, the best SOS card depends on both the situation and the content you are doing. I made the finalized shopping list I use in SOS shopping VPs. If that link isn't purple, you're doing it wrong. We plan to release a small video further explaining this in the coming days.If you're new to our community, take a moment to briefly read through the rules There's a couple things that you need to know about what you can and can't post in relation to the game. Thanks everybody, hope there's still some people here who have interest in Toontown Offline :D When the game is released, it will be much easier to use than before and hopefully a lot more stable :) The video released when Offline initially ended is only a small fraction of the entire event. I am excited to say that this is certain, and you WILL be able to experience the Interim-Presidential in its entirety soon enough :)Įvent is near completion. After that, there will be small updates likely w/ bug fixes and community requested features regularly during my summer vacation.
The update is currently in the works and is about 75% complete. I have had more free time than I imagined, and decided to dust off the incomplete update and finish it as it was meant to be, even better than before. Well, this ended up not being entirely the case. At the time, I was very busy with school and didn't imagine I'd have any free time for the foreseeable future, and others did not express interest to continue. When we ended the project abruptly in January, it was mainly due to the team losing interest and not having time. Just wanted to bring to everybody's attention that Toontown Offline is coming back, and better than ever.
